Saint Agnes
Growing up in a fashion household, Agnes began her design career on the west coast as an assistant at one of the streetwear market’s pioneering labels. She relocated to New York in 2000 and has since held positions at a few of New York’s high profile streetwear brands designing and travelling from factory to tradeshow across three continents a few times a year. Exhausted of cranking out her juiciest ideas in a repetitive and anticlimactic manner Agnes decided to transition her focus from fulltime to freelance design enabling her to forge her own separate environment for stimulation of personal and creative growth. Worship Worthy is her playground.
Mary Magdalene
In fashion I have found my great telescope: it is the lens I see the world through, the toil of my labors and inspiration; it expands and renders distant places, people, and times near. Even more than this, fashion has guided me from the place of my birth, through an adolescence spent immersed in the brilliance of street culture in two major cities, to my training and coming of age in New York City.
My life has been an unlikely journey – an immigrant is always a dreamer – and much like the avid collector I have discovered objects strewn across the villages and ghettos and academies of my past to mold together as the muse of my creation. Street style, my homegrown point of departure, has met the storied tradition of costume as art to create my singular and most personal outlook.
Worship Worthy is my newest and latest inspiration, a place where new ideas live.
