California native Michelle Nguyen recognized the gap in the market for beautifully inspired clothes with an inviting price point. After earning her degree in Communications, Nguyen boldly tried her hand in fashion design and launched her clothing line, Quail, in the Spring of 2006.
The collection consists of fantastic mix-and-match pieces and easy to wear dresses in eye-catching yet sophisticated colors. This Spring’s staple piece looks to be the “Minnie” skirt (seen above) which is perfect when paired with any top, basic or extra-fancy… just make sure to tuck it in. Other great pieces are the Tuxedo, Grad, and Baby Doll dresses all for a mere $120 or less! It really doesn’t get more stylish at this price.
Sold? Quail is available online or at New York’s Lola y Maria. Swing by tonight to catch a preview and shopping event of Quail’s Summer 2007 collection. The cocktail reception with music by Delta Spirit and art by Danny Simon starts this evening from 7-10pm.
Lola y Maria is located at 175 Rivington Street between Clinton and Attorney.
