Henrik Vibskov is an intelligent and imaginative young lad. Danish-born and a supreme multi-tasker, he has his fingers in many cookie-jars from the visual arts to consumer-products and fashion design. He’s also the drummer in a ‘rave-y’ techno-band called Trentemøller. Recently he collaborated with baby-buggy specialist, Quinny, on designing state-of-the-art baby strollers, upholsteries and umbrellas. I’ve had a nodding acquaintance with Henrik since my London days (he’s a CSM alum) and indeed have been an avid connoisseur of his super-creative output.
No, seriously, Henrik’s work is the coolest and highly visually stimulating! His prints range from linear pin-stripes and plaids to highly complex color-spots and sublime blotches approximating the famous Madelbrot Set (check out pics). From strollers to ponchos to umbrellas and dresses, there’s a definite inner beauty embodied in all his stuff. Edgy, quirky, colorful and complex, check out
