The newest ladies retail shop to open south of Delancey is making quite a raucous. Boasting 2,500 sq feet of a non-pretentious environment, Valley, located at 48 Orchard Street, welcomes you with a unique trio of services that only a New York City girl would fully understand. Opened in October by Southern Cali sister duo Julia and Nina Werman, the all-in-one destination offers a great variety of the coolest brands like Grey Ant, Ladies of the Canyon, and NY local favorites Nikom and SSUR. Toss in a pair of purple suede clog boots by Sanita and sprinkle in Bijules’ dainty knuckle ring or Guenevere Rodriguez’s perfect gold hoops, and you’ve got everything you need for that laid back, sunny San Fernando Valley state of mind.
The Valley girls did extensive research to find the most qualified nail technicians in the tri-state area partnering up with the reknowned Patty Yankee, the New York queen of nail art. We love our neighborhood Korean ladies for the reliable mani/pedi but Patty is what you would consider an artiste, doin her thing on our gesso-ready mini canvases! Have faith ladies, these talented women take their time with your fingers and toes. As for synthetics give Prescription Nails a try. These state of the art custom fit nails look so real we promise your lied-to admirers won’t even flinch!
And when it comes to your coochie, you choose, hard or sticky… wax that is. In attempt to make our lives run that much smoother, big sis Julia travelled the globe and found the least painful waxing methods.
