We’re usually not fans of the back door and allowing VIP access (uh…), but we recently discovered how sometimes “back dooring it” can be a good thing!
If you’ve swung by the aNYthing store in the past few years there’s a good chance you were lured out there by A-Ron so he could snap your pic against the graffiti scrawled back drop and post the photos on his blog one mini series at a time. Now, a collection of photos from those creative tête-à-têtes has been published as the Back Door Book. Released by WoW and Off Bowery, the book is a stylish Who’s Who of downtown scenesters, designers, artists, weirdos, and fashion freakazoids striking poses and showing their stuff on the back steps of A-Ron’s old hideout.
Some of the mugs you’ll spot in the book include Espo, the Virgins, Amanda Blank, the Rockers NYC crew and tons more.
