About Us

Worship Worthy was founded by fashion industry veteran, Jennifer Wannarachue, in Brooklyn’s cultural epicenter of Williamsburg as a design studio and culture forecasting web portal/newsletter in 2006, born initially out of a frustration with the lack of street-level, female fashion and lifestyle content online, Worship Worthy has since grown into an apparel brand and a fully-fledged think tank and service bureau.

Tapping directly into New York City’s downtown art and fashion culture via an elite panel of cosmopolitan lifestyle heavyweights, Worship Worthy provides continuously updated news, forecasting, imagery and analyses of the most cutting-edge trends, events and products to an international, fashion-forward female audience. And in a very short amount of time, it has earned ongoing media attention and profiles from generational print standards - including Nylon, The Fader, Complex, Theme, LTD, Zink and highsnobette.com, wearethemarket.com, and streetcarnage.com online.

Beyond the prolific output of its site, Worship Worthy applies its specialized collective knowledge to provide creative, consulting, advertising, design, sales, branding and event support to a wide range of prevalent lifestyle and street wear companies. This diverse spread of services organically helps the organization maintain the unique perspective and edge that keeps editors, buyers and consumers closely following.

Recent design projects include guest packaging for Camel No.9’s “up and coming designers” cigarette pack series, design for Nike’s Spring 09 sports-inspired bag collection, collaborating and producing limited edition tote bags for the Deathbowl to Downtown documentary, and a new sneaker design for RYZ.com (Wannarachue also serves on RYZ’s creative panel). Worship Worthy is also consulted by Atlanta’s premier lifestyle retailer, Wish, to make its seasonal buys. Beyond creative and consulting, Worship Worthy has also handled a gamut of duties (from sales, design, production to public relations/press) for influential streetwear brands such as Haze, MadeMe and Teamworks. Worship Worthy has also partnered with Function Drinks, Complex Magazine, Red Bull and LTD on its busy roster of events.

Presently, Worship Worthy is continuing to evolve to encompass a growing international audience as well as translate its core talents into outbound products and services. Having just launched a boutique apparel line (which will shortly expand into accessories), Worship Worthy is also counting down to both the relaunch of its main site, www.worshipworthy.com and the unveiling of its affiliate apparel and agency sites. Although the nature of Worship Worthy’s business has developed tremendously in just two years, the unique marriage between editorial and design that first conceived it remains the heart of the inspiration for all that it does.
