There’s been talk lately of some women in bikinis. Beyonce’ graces the cover of this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue being the first ever celebrity (non-model) to earn these bragging rights… Lookin’ sizzley. Even before we have a chance to get our hands on our own copy, it looks like the February issue featuring polka dot bikini clad Tyra Banks has been getting almost as much attention (though not necessarily with the same excitement.) We thought there was no better time to highlight one of our favorite swimsuit brands, Rosa Cha!
This Brasilian based bikini brand by designer Amir Slama reliably consists of sexy prints, colorful patterns and sleek silhouettes evoking the style and attitude of any current ready-to-wear high fashion runway collection. Not only do the silhouettes evidence the level of knowlege and experience with the human form but the added sultriness qualifies the brand as the leader of the pack. The pieces are all mix and match allowing us to to accentuate our best attributes by creating our own most flattering combinations from a huge variety of boy-cut bottoms and stringy bikinis along with matching print coverups. Check the Spring 2007 collection here.
Rosa Cha is available at Barney’s, Big Drop and Saks.
And for those of us who aren’t quite ready to put our heads there, take a trip to Portofino, it’s a great mid-winter pick-me-up!
