San Francisco based accessories line, Litter, is helmed by (really cute, we’d like to add) sisters Rachael and Mackenzie, and seriously ups the ante for your entire jewelry collection. Their creations are not only made to keep in your arsenal of sexy- peep the leg chains, for example- but are made individually by hand and are totally one of a kind.
Tapping into the sisters’ backgrounds in fashion design and interior design, Mackenzie and Rachael started Litter in San Francisco, after joining creative forces to evolve the idea of making jewelry out of found objects, like nuts and bolts, into using costume jewelry and vintage chains. They describe the process as sitting together at their studio table with tons of chains and just going with their intuition, draping methodically in unconventional yet beautiful ways.
They have already received much acclaim, and for good reason- each piece is both innovative and flirty, and perhaps this is reflective of the designers themselves- shop the line and read up on their adventures in style on their website and blog: www.littersf.com.
