Dear Devil,
My boyfriend still reminisces over his ex-girlfriend when he ears or sees something that reminds him of her. He also admits he misses certain things about her. Should I worry about this? Why do guys pay so much attention to the ones who would most likely sh*t on them?
Thanks,
Fed Up from Brooklyn
Hello My Little Angel,
What is the question? Of course you should worry. If he is blatantly reminiscing to you, his current girlfriend, then um, YEAH, I would say that’s a bit worrisome - and obvious. I mean, it’s okay if he’s just saying things like “Oh, she is super into this” or whatever about, like, food or something, but only once in a while - and assuming they are over each other intimately and remain good friends. But if he’s really always “reminiscing”, and wants you to react, then you need to prioritize. He may love you or like you just the same, but if he’s not completely over her, your relationship is not on solid ground. The house is standing, it’s chillin’ there, but those wooden posts are rotting away and the longer you wait, the harder the house will fall.
Dear Devil,
I’ve been searching for the best birthday gift for my younger brother who pretty much owns everything he wants. Any ideas of what to get him for his 23rd birthday?
Thanks,
Gift Giver
Hey Gift Giver,
Simple: gadgets. Always a good thing for little bro or any man, for that matter. A memory stick, wireless mouse, keyboard, or even a nice set of speakers should suffice. If he’s already got the dope hook-up then a case of Patron and a dozen limes should do.
Easy.
