Once again, lots of parties going down this week…
TUESDAY, today!: Stop by the corner of Houston and Lafayette streets and catch some live painting by international graffiti artists Scien, Atom, Can2 and more. A full-sized replica subway car will be painted by seven world-famous graffiti artists, working collaboratively to showcase the beauty and style of graffiti, in a daylong event… This event is to launch Adidas’ new spring End to End Collection made exclusively for Foot Locker.
WEDNESDAY: Head over to the Mixtape Riot party! It’s Fiona B’s birthday and there will be live performances by CX Kidtronik, P.O.P. (Illvia from KUDU), Santogold, and reggae artist Goldenchyl. A great opportunity to catch all these acts in this intimate setting before they all reach superstardom… You won’t want to miss this! THURSDAY: UNTITLED: An exhibition of Original Skateboard Art has it’s opening reception from 6-8pm at Eye Jammie Gallery, curated by legendary artist and graphic designer Cey Adams. Eye Jammie Gallery and Consolidated Skateboards have linked up to present a group exhibition of painters, photographers, illustrators, clothing designers, graffiti writers and other creatives… Each participant was given creative freedom and no time restrictions on a blank skateboard deck.
Also on THURSDAY Claw celebrates the NY launch of her new book “Bombshell: The Life and Crimes of Claw Money“. Location and details have not been disclosed to the public as this is a private event so do your best to pull some strings if you must!
